deals on F56?

Anyone getting any deals on the new Mini? Seems like many are coming in unspoken for.

Really?
The dealers within 150 miles of me each have 3-4 of them, and are using them as demos, so a base and S, auto and manual, with different options. The rest of their incoming inventory is orders, or flying off the lot because the on lot inventory isn't changing. Maybe its different in other parts of the country?

At this point I'd think maybe you can get a deal on on lot stuff, but not much on orders as the wait is very long for in demand options. (Contrasting roofs, HK audio)

I did get $500 off MSRP, but that was standard practice for the dealership. They're a no-haggle shop and do $500 off MSRP for every mini they sell.

According to my MA, 90% of Minis are bought off the lot, not special ordered.
So the dealers use their slots to order what they know will sell from past sales.
I will see many new Minis running around So Cal before my 8 week wait is up for my special order.

Yeah, but the TV commercial they're running will bring in some business so they have to have cars to sell sitting on their lots.

Heck, I was under the impression you paid MSRP and that was that. If I could get $500 off, that'd be rather motivating....

I ended up almost $1k under MSRP. From negotiation, not any standard discounts.

Don't forget the USAA stuff if you're a veteran. My discount ran to 5%+

Yea when MOB did mine they said they didn't know of any USAA discount. I have it saved now on my phone whenever my car finally decides to get on a boat. It's been sitting for 2 weeks now.

The best deal I could do was pay MSRP with no dealer add ons plus free tint.

I was told last week that the USAA $500.00 discount was an advertising error, and that it should not have been added to the MINI website. In their words, there IS NO $500.00 USAA discount. They were in the process of correcting the error. I was told there are no discounts other than what the dealer might give you. If anyone has different (as of this Monday)info as far as getting a $500.00 USAA discount, please post up so that I can call BMW and hammer them.

What kind of receipt are you getting after rendering your deposit?
Does it also come with a document that says this price may just be an estimated cost?

My receipt said that was the price for the car, the only things subject to change were my trade in value and any addition dealer installed accessories or warranty type programs picked after delivery. Financing rate was locked in too, and one of the warranty type options I was considering they locked that price in for me (and gave me the option to exclude it later if I wanted).

Interesting that it looks like MINI removed all references to a USAA discount on their website. Any they no longer show a finance offer on the 2014 Hardtop. They're not giving as low as .9% on the Hardtop? They show this rate for all other models. Strange.

It appears that most of the the discounts being received are actual dealer discounts. So if the USAA discount is gone, a dealer can choose to offer the same $500.00 or $1,000.00 discount. It certainly should help if you have more than one MINI dealer within driving distance in order to get the best deal.

Paid MSRP minus the $250 owner loyalty discount. They were up front about it though so no surprises.

Question:
For those of you that had discounts, were they mainly orders? or Off-The-Lot purchases?

Thanks in advance everyone!
