I heard something at my dealer I find odd and wanted to verify with those who have received their F56's.

Did you receive the wallet/case for the owner's manual or just the book itself?

Every car I have ever owned had one and I find it weird if one is not included. I just find this hard to believe personally.

 

My dealer said they did not include a case for the manual, etc... He grabbed a 2013 case for me.

 

Wow, that's just a nutty cost saving change. Well if my MA doesn't do the same they will find the wallet from my R56 is not part of my trade. Thanks for the clarification Marco.

 

Mine included the wallet/case.

 

Mine came with a case but....um there might be a 2013 on the lot missing one

 

My MA did the same thing for me. Pretty cheapskate move on MINI's part.

 

I actually use the one that came with my R53 in my R58. I'll probably do this again. The quality was lightened between the models. The first one was a nice pleather with slots for business cards and insurance/registration documents.

 

don't come with one. I don't care as i keep those stuff at home and not filling up the storage space.

 

*sigh* MINI are just cutting corners everywhere on the 2014. Shame.
