**** Change title to "New options come with a higher price tag"****
I ordered my mini a while back (sitting in port since the 8th waiting on stupid recall). I went on the site and configured my exact same car using the new configurator. It comes out about $800 more expensive. I'm guessing early demand is high because they snuck in a price hike.

 

Goodness - that's a bit rude? Or maybe typical of car companies. I bet demand will grow as people see and experience these awesome cars. You got yourself a nice deal there!

 

Where is the difference in price? Base price? Package or option price(s)? Transportation cost of $795 in one price but not the other?

 

There is no price increase as far as I can tell. I just configured the exact same car that I have saved from March 23rd and the price is identical.

Unless there are options that I didn't select that have changed in price, which very well could be, but the one I have configured is "well" optioned.

 

Mine was the same price. I think some of the accessories may be higher.

 

My car was configured at just under 33k and now is well over. I noticed that there are all kinds of new options and names but I configured it exactly the same. So I guess you can say it is pretty well configured. I can't wait to get my car. I am being told it will be at the dealer a week from tomorrow. Not counting on that but at least it is an estimate.

 

MINI Yours Interior Style in Off-White, Shadow Gray Color Line, and Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror appear to be no longer included in the packages you ordered and would add $700 to your 3/13 configuration if ordered now. You may well have benefited in some early errors in the configurator.

I don't understand your thread title announcement that "new options come with higher base price."

 

I did order those options, that explains why the price is higher now....
perhaps a better title may have been to leave out the word "Base" and simply said price. less confusing.

 

I notice it's now called "Enhanced Bluetooth...," and my order says "Comfort Bluetooth..." I guess they're the same.

Mine configures at the same price as I ordered on 3/13.

When I save as a PDF w/ pictures & specs, it doesn't save the way I configured.

 

My configured price and the price at the dealer were off in a few places.

LED Headlights with Cornering lights are $1250 online, $1000 in the dealer's system
Wired upgrade is $1600 online, $850 in the dealer's system

 

Ya. Mine was a few hundred cheaper in the dealer system as well. But the dealer also talked me into a few unplanned options like dynamic damper control

 

I did notice earlier on the MINI Yours interior packages included a colour line option in addition for the same price, but now only include the dash/door bezels/rings.
