Grey Cooper S

Was able to take a test drive in this today. I'm coming out of a 335 this fall and was thinking the Mini might work. Yea...it does! Awesome car!! Lotta fun. Here's a few pictures as I know from lurking around here we all need more pictures.

Is this a thunder grey car. Looks black. If it's grey I'd there any metallic in the paint?

That is definitely Thunder Grey. I just saw one at my dealer on Thursday.

Not really much metallic. However the color wasn't as dull as I've heard described. I actually quite liked it.

You're right. I noticed that when I saw the car Thursday. Still very nice. I used to own a 2003 Dark Shadow Gray Cobra. That particular color had a lot of metallic, which I liked. A similar color, Mineral Gray, that had much less metallic. Both are awesome colors. I think the Thunder Grey with black bonnet stripes is a great combination.

Bob. Thinking Red and maybe a red roof (wrap) or maybe dark orange. That grey needs something to make it pop!

Pics don't do Thunder Grey justice. It is a gorgeous color in person.

Most of the colors look different in pix than in person. So do the interiors (even more so). That's why I like to see before I buy. Not that you can go wrong with any color, just they look different.

Maybe Chile Red. If it was a metallic gray I'd say the gray and black combo (with a bit of chrome trime) would be great. A non-metallic gray would benefit from a contrasting color or more chrome trim to make it 'pop'. JMO.
