F55/F56 What's your age?
From reading through this thread it seems like the "target market" is poorly represented here.
There is a certain British haircut "cool" younger driver that owns an IPhone and that has never got his or her hands dirty. I like to think that these forums are for those that want to "fiddle" with there new cars. We are here to support each other on suspension mods, engine mods and general problems or opinions we might have.
I rooted my phone the day I purchased it and removed all the programs I did not like. Most people are happy to buy a phone or a car and drive it and never think anything more about it. It seems like that is generally the way people are.
Cobra Bob is not one of those people and neither am I. I would like to think that most here are like us. We want a personal experience from our cars. We are not scared to pull out a spanner. Some of us have been playing with engines for years, some not so much. We are all here to learn form each other in the wealth of knowledge that is this forum. All that counts is critical thinking and the thought that "Yes we can!"

Wow, here I thought I was ancient at only getting my first Mini at age 70. But you are right, so many cars, so little time.
I am 48.
I felt the sales reps represent the targeted customer age group. I see most sale reps are mature adult when I walk into a Cadillac dealership and early 20s in a Jeep dealership. MAs at my Mini dealership spread over all age groups and that seems correlated with responses on this thread.

28 years old and waiting for my 2015 Mini Cooper S. Bought my first Mini at 26 but unfortunately it was bought back after being declared a lemon. Hopefully this one will make me smile for years to come :-)

Still think I'm 30 and this is my second MINI -
