I'll be 71 in April and I don't feel a day over 69.Make that 49. Bought my 05S Coupe in may of that year and have enjoyed it for 9 yrs. From the Ozarks, to the Dragon, to MITM,to drives to Rushmore (with5280) and this year to SW MINI Fest and MTTS I've been a bit busy and lovin every minute of it.Now all I need is a co-pilot,if you catch my drift.
39 here...this will be my 2nd Mini. Although there has been a 370Z, a Jeep and a Porsche in between. That should tell you something about the fun level of Mini if I am coming back.

Steve1ddd, I'll tell you my story in brief. I previously owned an '87 Carrera and got my wife's nod of approval to buy a Cayman when we stopped at a MINI dealership, on a whim, to try one out. I found that the MINI could give me the pleasure and satisfaction I wanted for a whole lot less money. We left the dealership with my new base Hardtop. This was just two months ago and I'm still happy with my decision.
I'm only 27 with 40 years of experience! My Mini has been nonstop enjoyment for the past 7 yrs, or maybe an addiction, ie "Do the mods ever stop?" Drop me a PM sometime if you would like to get together. I'm not far off 91 exit 15.
My parents have had MINIs continuously since 2002, they're currently 52 and 50 and currently have a Countryman SD. They're on the list for an F56 Cooper.

Small world! I live in Cheshire. I'll PM you after I take delivery of my '14 MCS. I'd love to see your '06 MCS. That's quite a long list of mods.
Your 72 and still has a sport bike?,,,!!!! wow.
I seen your post and thought I would comment as I too am selling a sprt bike, and looking into a roadster as a 4 wheel motorcycle.
Im 44
Well, I actually sold it on March 4th, so I was still 71. Fast bike, but no nearby places to open it up here except the bridges. Too much traffic in this county. Will get much more use from the '14 MCS.
My screen name tells my story. Younger folks won't remember. I'll be 70 June 6th and enjoying my Roadster.
Close for me but I was born during the planning/assembly portion of D-Day. I will be 70 on May 16.
I am amazed how many folks on here are over 50..!! It's actually really cool to see this. I guess part of it is that we know what we want for our personal "toys".
I just noticed this thread and thought I would bring it forward by posting.
Cheers.
I just turned 41....my kids and friends said I am crazy. Thought I was gonna be the old guy in this group boy was I wrong!!!
This is my first. Just sold my jeep wrangler that was heavily modified for offroading (rock crawling) and have my big 3/4 ton truck for sale.
I needed a good gas mileage car for my new job commute and wanted to get something fun something with character. I think a volcanic orange MCS fit the bill.
