Yeah I'm hoping to get mine before may 5th, that's when I'm heading back out of town for work (9 days away). it would be nice to take the new mini instead of driving my 3/4 dodge ram diesel!

In the UK but i was in here posting so thought it was rude not to post up I have my car.
Ordered March the 2nd with estimated delivery the 7th April to the Dealers. Car arrived on the 9th April and I picked it on Monday the 14th.

Congrats on getting yours, being a (soon to be) new mini owner Its good to see the old and new side by side...to be honest I dont' see that much of a difference between the two. Not so much to understand why so many are upset about the "new look".

It should only take 2-5 days to move from the distribution center to your dealer based on what I've read and heard to this point. Mine arrived at my dealership the day after it arrived at the distribution center. The only delay that I am aware of right now at the distribution center is the installation of the oil filter housing on affected VINs. 9 days from arrival at the distribution center to delivery to the dealership doesn't sound right. You should call MINI (Hot Line) and query them about it.
The Owner's Lounge tracker and the hotline representative both indicated the car is expected to arrive at the dealer by 4/20 (Sunday). So after the PDI and navigation activation, etc., the car should be ready by Mon. evening.
Bummer, I was hoping to pick up the car Saturday at the new model celebration at my dealer. Maybe my car was one of those affected by the oil filter housing issue...

Possible. Just seems a bit longer than usual at the distribution center. Monday will come quick. Just a week ago I was disappointed to find out I couldn't get my car until this week. Tomorrow morning I head off to the dealer for a "closing" at 10AM. It's going to be a fun drive home.

I assume you ordered a white or black roof? I heard from my (USA) dealer and from a MINI USA rep that there is a problem in the F56 production facility and black/white roofs will not go into production until at least July. It'd be interesting to hear what your dealer has to say about the issue.
There's also apparently a supply issue on the Harmon Kardon option, but they managed to get mine onto an existing order in the queue and the HK doesn't look to be a problem. They're still trying to figure out if the black roof is going to cause a delay or not...
Fingers crossed that "scheduled for production" means that it snuck in before the delay.

I ordered on 3/24 and moved to SFP on 4/2. Now my MA says the car was done and awaiting transport on 4/15 which is 13 days, but the Owners Lounge still has me stuck at SFP! I don't know what to believe because mine has the H-K sound system and black roof/mirrors, both of which have some "Issues" though nobody seems to be sure just what those are.

The additional steps in production for a different roof color has caused them problems. I think they are limiting this option for a while.
