Yes, I just got the arrived at port message from my MA yesterday, saw your message about tracking, tried it and saw the same. Too bad we can't pick them up at the port in person. Thanks again for the info. concerning the tracking tool.

Thanks, right tool for the right job. Still true, if you want the job done right do it yourself, with a little help from your friends.

ojedam64 thanks so much for the tracking tool! It looks like mine is on the same boat too!

Ok got a question, went to owners lounge with production number and tried to enter it. The stupid thing asks for a acquired date. And any date I put in comes up as a invalid date. WTF anyone have a clue?

Ask your dealer. Mine is a 9 hour drive to my dealer, he told me normally it's about 5-7 days to arrive.

My MA says he will not receive the car at the dealership until 4/21, and it will take another 1-2 days to get the car ready for sale...does anyone have a similar experience? CobraBob?

Ordered my Blazing Red March 29, it has now been built and ready for shipment. Seemed to go pretty fast.

It should only take 2-5 days to move from the distribution center to your dealer based on what I've read and heard to this point. Mine arrived at my dealership the day after it arrived at the distribution center. The only delay that I am aware of right now at the distribution center is the installation of the oil filter housing on affected VINs. 9 days from arrival at the distribution center to delivery to the dealership doesn't sound right. You should call MINI (Hot Line) and query them about it.

Thanks for the info, CobraBob. Is the hotline also able to tell me if my car is one of those affected by the oil filter housing issue?

From those who've been there what's the best method to obtain status after arrival at the US port? I've gotta coach my MA to get any reliable information...he's proven to be unreliable getting info.

well, i called to talk to mini usa today to see if they updated the status of my shipping (they've been saying that its at the port, even though WW has my VIN as enroute, I to have the nice warm and fuzzy feeling that both have the same status)

Mini still says they have mine at the port, waiting on my MA to get back to me with a status. Sure hope its not a mistake and I've been tracking a ship that my mini isn't on, that would sure SUCK!

anyone else have this happen, where you get conflicting info on your status?

Trust what the person on the phone told you and not the website. They ought to clone CobraBob's MA, he seemed to be pretty involved.

For what it's worth, my MINI arrived at the port in SoCal on the 9th and has been sitting there since. My MA originally expected it to arrive this weekend, but there has been no update. As of today, it is still not on a truck. My order is a base with sport package.

its crazy, the automated voice says two different things depending on what I put in. if I use the PO number its waiting shipment, use the VIN its enroute.

the live person says waiting on the boat either way....

WW website lists my vin as loaded and enroute

still waiting on the MA

MA says "it is at sea" .....I guess I'll see what happens when the boat arrives at the port.

I've got the same thing, MINI says it's still at the port. WW Logistics indicated that the TALISMAN has left Spain on the 13thand is headed to Baltimore. Seems like the shipping company would not want to indicate our cars were on their ship if they really were not, liability etc.

Mine originally said MINI was on the boat but then showed returned to shipper, so now waiting on another boat :-(

I checked the WW Logistics schedule Southampton to Baltimore departures 4/16, 4/20, 4/24. 4/27, and two on 5/1. so at least if we missed the boat, more boats.

My MCS os on that 4/16 ship, "Georgia Highway," and 4 days later my car gets off in Brunswick, GA. The ship started the trip in Germany, so there are likely some BMWs aboard.

I used info I had from my own status. Grabbed the listed booking number and it gives you the entire list of all vehicles loaded on the ship.

You can see the ones loaded and returned to shipper listed by vin

Use this link: https://att.2wglobal.com/gstattweb/o...ckSearchResult

And this booking number: GBSOU1192803

Hit track then look for your VIN. Mine is on the boat...
