Nice! It should show up at your dealer any day now, especially since the online status is always off by a couple of days. April 15th can't come soon enough, eh? Are you going to take it for a test drive when your dealer gets it?

Some say it depends on how many cars are allotted to your dealer. Also, possibly, these are done in batches -- by color? by options?

Day before yesterday my MCS was "in transit," yesterday it was "released to the port of export" and today the automated voice said it was "in transit" again.
Haven't heard from my MA.

anyway, today my status is at the port waiting to be a assigned to a ship. If I read it correctly the next ship leaves on the 6th k line, and ww is the 11th. Not really sure which one mine will be on. WW goes to my selected port in baltimore K line only says east coast.

Order Placed: This happened some time between 3/2 and 3/9, but I'm not sure of the exact date...
Scheduled for Production: 3/13
Awaiting Transport: 3/27
Still awaiting transport as of 4/3...does this status usually last about two weeks?

Probably depends on how efficiently/cost effectively they can get cars to the port of entry that handles cars for your location. They don't want to have a half-filled ship. MINIs may be the largest number of cars on these ships -- probably includes some Land Rovers, Jaguars, R-Rs and Bentleys.

Call the number and talk to a person they will tell you the exact status.
Don't use the owners lounge, that info is very basic.
My automated response (backed by a live person) says "your mini is at the port awaiting transport but has not been assigned a vessel yet"
It's pretty specific.
