I think there's multiple F56's in NJ and CA right now for training the Motoring Advisors, so not the first in the US, but might be lucky enough to have one of the first privately owned.
Anyone hear anything as far as a hold when they arrive in the U.S. awaiting certification from the feds? I believe it has to do with emissions and fuel economy numbers. Maybe crash ratings as well. My dealer told me that my order is flagged for a hold in port (U.S.) for this certification. ??

Yep somebody has a pal who's his MA and went for F56 training in CA somewhere. Wish my dealer would get some in the showroom now that you can order them.
I'm digging it!

I think that doesn't take long, and I don't think they have to test every single car that comes in but I could be wrong. They make sure there are no diesels, stuff like that.

Just found out through my MA that my F56 left Southampton on the 8th and is now in the middle of the pond bound from Baltimore first then Brunswick...so hopefully by the 22nd or so it should be at the dealer.
I guess my ship isn't going to Baltimore. Tracking info says it is enroute to NYC. An even shorter distance from my dealer in CT. I'm guessing that it will be in NYC tomorrow.
