NO start, Terminal 50 dead
NO start, Terminal 50 dead
Hey guys,
I dont get to post much here lately but ran into this perplexing issue and wanted to check in with the community for some guidance or previous experience.
I recently did a trans swap (took out my S trans and swapped in a JCW unit) and replaced all mounts. Somehow in that, I took a perfectly working/starting car and now it will not start on its own. After doing some testing to verify ground is good in a variety of places (trans ground strap, battery, starter) and verifying that if the starter terminals are jumped and you press the start button it starts and runs perfectly! So it's localized to the start/stop circuit. When I look at live values on the Autel, I see everything works during startup EXCEPT Terminal 50 never excites which is the power feed for starting. The clutch pedal and brake pedal switches have been confirmed to be active (they show live data when pressed/depressed). I did see these codes and this is the info I found on them.
I really need an outside-the-box suggestion or thought process here, I am an experienced mechanic but feeling frustrated I cannot drive my daily driver away b/c this start issue.
Please through out anything you can think of or things to check
