I replaced my starter because car shut off on me and smoke came out my hood and smelled like burnt wires Or burnt plastic I tried turning carbon 3 times and after the 3rd time car didn’t crank anymore at all or any clicking noise I would push the start and absolutely nothing not even crank, so replaced the starter it was completely burnt out and had oil in it, i put on a good used one and now car won’t start at all car cranks now but won’t start at all, I checked fuses and relays don’t seem to find any bad fuses please help car won’t start at all and was running fine before starter burned out did I burnt out something else??? Or was I not sopuse to disconnect the battery?? I also touched the negative post with positive with my ratchet in accident When I was connecting the battery did I harm something because of this??? Please help thank you
at this point, you want to check if the car stored any codes. Also, go through the work you did in case you forgot a plug or something. next, check if the car would start if you spray quick start fluid. or check for spark and compression.
