Check engine light with several codes popped up yesterday....

So, everything seemed fine and yesterday morning when I started the car, bam check engine light on and message on screen pops up. 2015 Cooper S 2 door 6 speed

I used 2 different scanning tools. Also, oil and filter is only a month old with about 1k miles on it.

I am very short on time at the moment due to work, so I was wondering, what are the codes, how severe is it, can I still drive for a bit before fixing, is this going to cause other problems if i continue to drive the car, where are these parts located, more than one part?

Thank you very much for the help!!!

so, I guess this is due to a exhaust and or camshaft vanos solenoid, those solenoids would be different part numbers I assume, correct?

I had a similar code on my 2012 Clubman S. Replaced both VANOS solenoids and it went away.

Looks like you need #7 here (same part for intake and exhaust):

ok, one better LOL

So, the check engine light popped on, thursday morning. I have driven it, thur, fri sat no issues, sun went to work no issues came home no issues, when to the park and it stalled out on me when i put it in neutral.
it starts right up and I can drive it with a little slugginish which goes away with high RPM but once I pop it in neutral it dies out.

ran scan tool again and this time I also got a new code P00BD, seems to be a mass airflow issue.

now, can this be a issue to the mass flow due to driving with the camshaft and exhaust vanos solenoids being shot and the mass airflow sensor getting dirty?

thank you

Be honest with you, I’m not sure. The vanos system on those engines is completely different from the N18 engine.

#7 is labeled vanos actuator in the descriptions

On the N18, there are only solenoid valves:

Under the hood you will find a sticker that specifies the emissions equipment on your MINI. On that sticker there will be a long string of numbers, and within that string will be B46 for the regular MINI S, and for the JCW B48. This is what I know from experience, but if you do a VIN search online, that should also indicate which engine your car has....or at least which engine it had when it left the factory.
