Anyone know where one can find a service manual (not owners manual), for the 2014+ mini F56? As a DIY'er I don't like the idea of not at least having the service manual on hand.

 

Not 100% sure, but I've been told they haven't come out yet and should be sometime next year. Could be wrong about the timing of the release.

I guess you're referring to Bentley Publishers. I wouldn't be surprised if it takes longer than next year. In the past, it has taken them several years after a model release before they publish a manual.

here it is 9/2016 and still no 2014 manuals of ANY publisher. Even the last version (covers up to 3013) is missing a crap load of stuff.... heat sheilds underneath, clubman exhaust details, A and C pillar outer trim, door seals, center console details..all are missing or differences exist between 2013 and 2014 :-(

 

I remember the days when you could walk into a BMW dealer parts Dept and buy a factory workshop manual for any current model BMW! Those days are gone because BMW/MINI wants you to bring your car in for "any" maintenance on your car! It's your car, you own it, but why should you know how anything works?....or how to fix anything? These are the days we live in now!

 

Here's what I have. Got these long time ago from the Rheingold app (which I no longer have). I think it was more than 20 GB or something.

 

Hopefully Bentley Manuals will have something soon. I will talk to them and see if they have an eta.

 

If you do the one day subscription to MINITIS.com, can you at least download some of the files, or is it strictly an online app?

 

Pretty much everything is printable or downloadable, except for wiring diagrams which are interactive (a good thing) but you can just take screenshots of those.

 

I enquired, through Bentley's web site and got this response:

We don't have a service manual for the 2014 and later F56 minis yet, or a date as to when it will become available.However, if you would like to be notified by email about new products as they are released, please sign up through our website with your vehicle preferences.

I found free online repair instructions at

Its a beta site, so perhaps it won't remain free into the future, but it looks like the site provides online access to BMWs TIS (technical information system).
