Hi all. Recently my Nav screen in my 17 S all4 is just stuck on the "Starting navigation" screen and will not function beyond that. Its like its frozen. Any ideas on what I could do to maybe re-set the nav system or is there a fuse specifically for that to check before I take it to the dealership?

 

How is the surface of the DVD disc for your car? The DVD for my 2006 R52 has some deep scratches on it in places....you might want to see if that's your problem or maybe the DVD is just dirty on the surface that the laser reads

No DVD in the newer ones. All hard drive based.

Turn off the car and take your keys at least 30 feet way for at least 30 minutes. That causes all of it to go to sleep again. Failing that, yeah, it’s a trip to probably replace the head unit because failed drive.
