Hey, are there any other parts we will have to buy to make this work on pre-lci parts? Any coding on cars with LED lights?

I finally got around to doing this conversion.
Thanks maaii for the harness.
It was my first time using Bimmercode so it did take me while to find where the commands where located.
So I figured I would list the numbers of the menus here just in case anyone else is an inept as I an in looking for things
3064, 3065 for the light mapping
3061 for all the others

Looking for assistance in retrofit UJ in 2017 clubman

New to all this... but I can find the lights and understand the footwell swap...

does anyone have the adapter harness and a list of instructions?

In addition to all this... can one then enable fog lamps to come on with front fog lights?

too many distracted drivers out there and I’m looking for more light hence the retrofit.

any help is appreciated.

-----> No, In US version car. You need to change the headlight switch to enabled rear fog lamps.

Just do what I did: code the rear fogs to act as brake lights. Now 5 brake lights instead of 3. Just a simple coding, no hardware. I used BimmerCode.

Fog lights as Brake Lights

Reprogramming Fog lights to act as brake lights...

does anyone have an actual detailed step by step to do this. It might be a good thing to try before the uj swap.

I'm new here and need a little advice about UJ tail lights retrofitting project.
I have already new tail lights at home and the target is EU model of 2017 F54 with LED lights.

I got a harness kit for this pre LCI model as well when I ordered this set and official Mini installation document.
But this harness kit looks much more different than pictures what Maaii sent to this thread earlier.

The question is should I order new harness kit from Maaii or do I really need to dismount lot's of car parts to get this original set installed?
For example the longest cables goes to the connector what is located near co-drivers legroom.
The version what Maaii has done is much shorter and does it work in European version as well?

I tried to PM to Maaii as well but that didn't worked for some reason

Best regards,
Mika

if you read the topic you will have an answer to all your questions.
in short:
maaiis adapters dont require cutting and soldering. Fog will be in the bumper tho
official requires allot work including opening allot plastic and cutting the wires and stuff. No way back. You will have fog in the units...

Thank you for the clarification, this was the information what I was looking for: it's much easier to do installation with maaiis adapters than with the original wiring set.

Maaii, if you see this message please PM to me (I will just get some PHP error when trying to send message). Thank you.
