2017 Clubman S non-LED- Convert to LED?
Hi folks- Being a new owner and just having picked up my Clubman S on a year end special, I had to take something off the lot. The car did not have the LED headlights. Rather it has whatever are the standard which I find far less safe then the Xenon units in my other car (BMW).
Is it possible with a LED bulb upgrade to swap out the headlight bulbs in these cars and get one of the many LED bulb kits I see. If so, has anyone done it and is there a brand or model of bulb that is recommended?
The headlights on mine seem to have one bulb or perhaps its a two element bulb in one housing?

Found my own answer. Due to the headlight housing, switch to LED bulbs will not give the correct dispersion pattern, so a different bulb upgrade is used. See here:

I went with the H4 (9003) at this link:
I did not do DRL lights, don't really care about those too much, just wanted better night time lighting. I would say that the results to my eyes are NOT spectacular. I know there may be dispersion problems with using LED bulbs in the Non LED headlight housings, but next I am going to try these:
This is a real LED bulb. We will see if it causes other drivers problems. My basic gripe is that all the Mini cars, at the prices these cars go for, should come standard with LED lights, not only as an option. I mean if they look at the their lower priced competition they have today, most every car manufacturer has very good LED or Xenon lights as standard. Pain to have to be DIY fixing what should not need to be upgraded in the first place. My rant is now over.

or if you can spend a bit more $$$... you can also get a 3rd party headlight replacement (plug & play) like I did. here's the thread where I showed what I did on my F56 MCS..
