Dont know spider mine did that about month ago for aprox 20min during a drive.. then came back on near the end of it. This was when i was leaving work (5:40 am) and still dark.. headlight were working but no dash, Didnt really check the AC cause i dont use it that early in the morning. When i got two turns from home the dash lite up. So it may not be a fuse.

Mine went out and then I looked at some fuses and when I restarted the car it all worked and then last night it went out again.

Anybody having this problem? My dealer told me it was due to my aftermarket ICE LINK. Sounds bogus to me, just wondered if others have had this problem.

Check fuse first; ICE LINK has been known to cause some pretty weird gemlins, including throwing SES codes, screwing up guages and the like, remove it and after a few starts (if not the first) if the ICE LINK was the culprit everything should go back to normal.

I checked all the fuses. I see they no longer recommend these for mini's, nor does the company sell them. Is there anything I can do to salvage the unit?

Dunno; could ask around in the Nav. & Audio section for someone eho has some experiance; I'm not sure as to what part of it actually causes the trouble.

Might be a BC1 control module, my car has done that before.

Being the original post is over a year ago it may been fix or the problem as later i found for mine is the ground for the Parking brake. If your car is running with all lights on and you move you Parking brake up just a little .. all the lights will go out. move up or down a little from that spot and they will all come back on.
