What does this do?

What does PIN number 3 do on the MAF sensor? I'm missing it, need it replaced but until then... What does this affect?

what year and model you have? also, what is the issue with your MAF that prompted you to replace the plug?

What are the two plugs you have? I suppose one goes to the MAF and the other? Can you type out the codes for us?

The MAP and MAF are different. If you still under warranty, can you go to the "sdealer" and have them fix it?
You can also do a small experiment ;-) clear the codes and un plug the MAF and see what codes come up. Clear the codes and Do the same with the MAP. Clear codes and Do the same with both unplugged, and see what codes come up. make sure first that the air pipes are tight and air isnt leaking in any where.

Codes cleared and CEL is still gone with 20miles on the car so far. Will keep an eye on it for now but still unsure if I broke the MAF sensor as seen above lol
