Installed Ziza Position Lights Tonight

Ziza LED Position Lights.
Was fairly simple once I figured out how to disconnect the wiring and now they match the HID headlights. Now I just need to suss out my fog lights and get them to match as well...

Did you need to remove the bumper or did you go behind the wheel arc?

Just had to turn the wheels sideways to get enough access to the lights in the wheel well. Was kinda tight, but got the first one in in 15 minutes and the second one in 5 mins. I just struggled a little bit because I had not messed with those connectors before and was just winging it without instructions really…
All in all, a pretty nice $29 upgrade, especially if you have HID headlights.

Nice,

Easy way is to turn the wheel to the left ( for the front left ) , then turn and remove the lower (bottom) disc, then you have access to the LED position bulb.

This is what the disc " Lid cover " look like.

Here is the back of the position light only housing:

Turn and twist out the base, then you can put in the Ziza LED bulb. Its polarity sensitive, so if it does not light the first time, turn it 180 degrees and you are gtg.

Same thing on the Fog light / position light housing. Top smaller bulb socket in picture is where the Ziza Position light LED goes. Main bulb is the fog light.

Repeat for the right hand side and you are good. Thanks and hope that helps.

Nice pics Stupolvo. Looks great.

My lights flicker for about 5 seconds when I turn the car on... Is this normal, anyone else notice this?

That is the car sending pulses of power to look for less resistance (ie a bulb out). It is doing its checks.

I've had the position lights in for several weeks, and the fogs look so weak in comparison that I got the fogs shortly after. No issues, nice white, crisp light! Thinking rear license bulbs now.

If you look at the bottom picture of Post #8, you can see the back of the unit showing the bulb installed with the red washer....that is the fog light bulb. I used the Ziza replacement there too.

Ziza's installed they look great, BMS HID foglights installed they look great. Now if someone would come out with a legal headlamp upgrade that didn't cost
$1000. I have the Phillips X-tremes and they are brighter than stock but look dim against both the led and hid's.

Yep. Light control module checking the system. Then good to go.

Ziza Front Position LED Upgrade: Gen 2 MINI

For the lower fog light ( if you have that option ) you can use the Ziza H8 Bulbs. Those photos are without the Ziza Led position lights installed (stock position bulbs) and shot low to show the output of fogs with yellows Ziza H8.

MikewithaMini - post up some pics with the Ziza led / Ziza fogs if you can.

Also, Currently we are running a sale on the Ziza products. So click through to see the prices.

Thanks

Early morning while the car was in the garage is when I took the pics with the phone. I have Xenons as well, for comparison. First I got the running lights and looking at the fogs, they were anemic yellow, so I went Ziza with those too.

Looks good. Thanks for the pics.
But I think you are getting the cutoff point on the xenon headlights in the lens reflection , which makes them look yellow. You can take a picture higher or lower and further back, if you want for a better angle. But the Ziza set up on the bottom looks good.

Yes, I shot it tight to show the postion lights and also not to reveal my clunky garage! Standing off, the Xenons and the Position/Position+fog match up pretty well without any issues whatsoever from the start. I guess I've had them a couple months now. Ziza is proud of the license lamps but that will be the next lighting I buy, probably.

What do you mean, "cutoff point?"
