Nope , you are good to go. They are tested and look great.

MikewithaMini - What do you mean, "cutoff point?" Just the angle of the lens, when bulb light refracts on the curved lens and creates a little rainbow of light. Which can reflect different colors. I call it the cut off point. Don't know the technical term.

Finally got mine installed today. Love 'em - to me they're a must if you have xenon headlamps. Original on passenger side and Ziza on driver side - no color adjustments made to photo.

Great aren't they? Wait until you turn your fogs on!

Did you use the Ziza 6000K or 7500K bulbs for the fogs?

We just have the positions light Leds in that color. Which owners have shown example above.

Ziza Front Position Light LEDs

-------------------------------------------------------------------

If you have the fog light option ( bottom half of the front bumper light ), and want a fog light ( yellow ) I would recommend the H8 Pure Yellow Pair. ES2526576 .

OR

We also have the H8 Platinum white 7500K color. Which is above an matches very close to the Position LED color.

Thanks and hope that helps.

Mine are good. Swapped out the fogs for halo DRLs though. Rest if the car has been good for about 3 months or so.

Just installed the Ziza LED lamps in front positioning lights and replaced the stock fog bulb with the Ziza H8 7500K fog bulbs - happy with looks.

I do have a few helpful hints and comments:

How to: for the fog bulbs, the connector has to be removed before the bulb-in-holder can be rotated CCW to remove! The plug blocks the rotation. Same in reverse for install: insert bulb and rotate CW, then plug in.
Not so for positioning lights: here there is no plug. Simply turn the bulb holder (upper one of two if you have fog and positions) CCW, and then wiggle out. Takes some wiggling as there is an o-ring for waterproofing. The old bulbs then simply pulls out of the front of the holder. Insert LED lamp and test for correct polarity before removal. Rei-insert, work in (push in) and then when in as far as possible rotate clockwise.

Looks: I like looks and color of LED positions and 7500K fog bulbs, however: the Ziza H8 fog bulbs are not any brighter than the stock H8 bulbs my 2013 R56s came with, in fact a light measurement with a smartphone show light intensity of the Ziza bulbs to be lower than that of the stock bulbs. However the stock bulbs have much warmer color than the Ziza, so the Ziza replacement matches the Xenon HIDs and the LED positions much better. But they are not brighter!

Cheers!

Hello d454brisson - Please contact our customer service and they can help you.

1.800.924.5172 or customerservice@ecstuning.com

Also check your light housing for water getting in due to a cracked housing, just to be sure.

Thanks

Thanks will call them, I ordered a new set, if the one gets replaced I will have a spare.

Checked the housing, if I hold and flick the light the dim side sometimes lights sometimes not, the other side is good. I hooked it to a sep 12v source with socket and same issue.

Thanks
DB

Hi, which H8 fog light bulb do I go with to match my Ziza front position Led? Platinum white or Super White?

Please advise. Thanks.

For the lower fog light ( if you have that option ) you can use the Ziza H8 Bulbs. Those photos are without the Ziza Led position lights installed (stock position bulbs) and shot low to show the output of fogs with yellows Ziza H8.

MikewithaMini - post up some pics with the Ziza led / Ziza fogs if you can.

Also, Currently we are running a sale on the Ziza products. So click through to see the prices.

Thanks

Ziza Position bulb with Xenon head lamp

Just installed my Ziza LED on my CM today and it is whiter and brighter than the OEM bulb. Great match with my Xenon head lamp.
Sorry, it was raining last night.

Will consider doing the H8 for the fog lamp as well.
Thanks ECS for the install instructions !
