Oooh. I just bought a 2009 MCS and I think my first upgrade may be the LED interior lighting upgrade.

Is there a kit for the R55s?

Unfortunately, mine came with halogens and after reading many threads on here, I don't know when I'll tackle that one. I may just try to get the whitest bulbs I can for now.

Awesome kits!

Thanks.

2009 MCS , you are talking about the Clubman in that year ?

There is an interior kit for the 8/2010+ R55 Clubman. We hope to have the kit for pre 8/2010 Clubman soon with PDF install. Install PDF are linked in the main " master kits " for the interior leds.

Yes, its a 2009 Clubman S. So, you don't have a kit at this time?

I'll be waiting. Patiently.

My 2007 MCS fogs have an empty hole on top. Is it safe to assume that if I purchase the position socket and bulbs from ECS, that the fogs are already prewired?

Hello,

You will either have , position ( top bulb ) or position & fog ( bottom ) combo only.

If you have the position & fog , you have the fog light option.

If you did not order or your car was built with no fog lights, you will have that top bulb only. Cars are not prewired for fogs so if you want to add fog you would have to tap into another wire or wire from the LKM box were the fog were and then add a toggle switch to the toggle bank and flash for fogs.

I bought the car used less than 2 weeks ago. It has standard bi-xenons and fogs (with the fog toggle switch) however there is no socket or bulb installed on the upper portion of the fogs. I'm guessing the previous owner pulled them out for whatever reason. I'll have to access the rear of the fog unit and see what's there for the parking lights.

Ok, send me a picture of the front fog lights section and I can help you , they might have just pulled out the upper sockets , which you can get.

Do you still have this base for sale? My mini doesn't come with fog lights, so I'll need something like this one below:

Thank you.

Here is the back of the position light only housing:

Turn and twist out the base, then you can put in the Ziza LED bulb. Its polarity sensitive, so if it does not light the first time, turn it 180 degrees and you are gtg.

Same thing on the Fog light / position light housing. Top smaller bulb socket in picture is where the Ziza Position light LED goes. Main bulb is the fog light.

Repeat for the right hand side and you are good. Thanks and hope that helps.

Hello,

I think you just called into our place here, the sale team can help you sort out what you can do. Basically, you cannot just add the fog lights and it will work, they are not pre-wired.

Sorry to hear this, mine are still going strong and no codes, i did have a fog light hosing get moisture ( they crack over time) in it and it got on the led and went, I just got new housings and leds and it was fine, it also threw a code because the light was interminate on/off before it failed(think the can-bus chip got water on it). Also had people get moisture in the housing from extreme hot to cold temps (like what happens in the factory headlights on cold morning on the inside) and the water can on them and make them fail earlier.

If you got a bad led you can contact us and we can send you new ones.
