Door Lock Audible tone "Radio Shack"
Read a post over on 1st generation

about Cooper "S" people using/hooking up the Radio shack Piezo buzzer as a tone to sound when locking the door - this would be for people who do NOT have an OEM alarm and the post talked mainly about the "S" Coopers - wanted to post here to see if anyone has tried this on a 2nd Gen COOPER... I really would like to hear a tone of somesorts when locking the car as I walk away...

i believe you can... I thought I read somewhere in the owners manual that there is an option of what you want to happen when you click the doors locked, if I recall you can have:
1) nothing happens auidibly/visually or
2) 4-way hazards flash or
3) 4-way hazards flash and horn beeps

i believe you can... I thought I read somewhere in the owners manual that there is an option of what you want to happen when you click the doors locked, if I recall you can have:
