Any body/wheel damage to the operator from air bag deployment? Hope you're okay. I'm sure you'll be back to full operational capability soon, albeit at some $$. I am clueless as to what an insurance policy typically covers on this.

My head hurts... maybe from being so stupid. $3000 and climbing. Insurance does cover the damage as a collision type event. From what I hear it can be much worse. I'll write something up after it all.
One thing you might want to do..check that the frame is stright still...an alighnment check at the least...that way you can get everything done at onetime if something is found...to have the airbags deployed means a ton of energy was absorbed..the fact it LOOKS ok does not mean it is. Better to find it now while the claim is open than later, and have to reopen it.
If if the ins company tries to lowball the estimate, you can hire a private adjuster to help your case...will usually get you far more than they cost you!!

There is a fusable link on the power cables (not sure if it is called that). It explodes and cuts power after an accident. Just FYI...
its cranking over but not catching so I don't think its that, they should have replaced everything that went bad when I bumped the curb and popped the bags
