What is the part on here that has a red ring around it? When I pop that bit off on my own charger I can see straight inside of it. Do I want this hole plugged up? Mine only has a plastic thing over it to cover it. My old one had a bolt in it to seal it off.

Thats where a vacuum line would go. Not sure why your old one would be blocked off

Oh no.... the previous owner was a half-wit and ruined half the car tinkering and I'm trying to set it right slowly so this is a learning process for me. Where would the vacuum line go to? Chances are he removed it or plugged it up at the source. No idea why. If I cannot find the vacuum line should I block this one off as well? What effects would this have? Shockingly I had no CEL....

Is there any harm in just leaving it be and plugging the supercharger hole up on this one as well?

No idea. I'm sure they put it there for a reason though. If it was my car I would do it correctly.

It's probably EGR related. Don't have one of those on the M45 Eaton on my old Miata.

It's crank case ventilation from the valve cover.

Trust me I want to make it stock but he already sealed up the hole on the valve cover. So Now what? I'm not sure what negatives will come from sealing up the s/c hole. The guy has an oil catch can system in place on the car as well...

Any guessing what the cons will be?

The hole in the VC is actually a check valve that is removable. It's threaded in.
