Wrong Answer!

-6 plug is way to big. I'll return it and try the 1/8 NPT.

I have purchased quite a few parts from Alta all which were on sale when I first bought my 03 MCS.

Alta Short Shift kit (favorite mod) 79$
Alta 15% pulley 75$
Alta CAI 129$

I received all of my orders in ample amount of time. I would recommend Alta to any mini enthusiast. Great products/great service/great people!

I am using a R50, 2006 Mini Cooper AT (which manufactured in UK) in Hong Kong, China;
I want to use your Foam filter and Ignition Upgrade Package.

However I have some questions about the two products;
1) Does the foam filter suit for my car? since in your website, it mentioned the product name with R53 (http://www.altaperformance.com/produ...nel-Filter-R53). Does it mean that it only suits for R53?

2) Since I saw in OutMotoring website, it mentioned your MSD coil pack need some modification such as
"please note that the MSD coil pack will require the 4 sleeves to be drilled out about 1/16" to allow the stock bolts to fit through".
http://www.outmotoring.com/mini-coop...n-upgrade.html

For your ignition package, do I need any modification before install?
If not, what does the above note mentioned in outmotoring mean?

Thanks!

1. To make sure you get the correct filter can you email me a picture of your engine bay and more specifically your airbox? Jarid.Perry@ALTAPerformance.com

2.Our Ignition package does come with new hardware so you don't need to re use the OEM bolts OR modify the coil

Thanks for your reply.

I already sent a email to you regarding my car. Check it out.
I am from oversees, in "Hong Kong, China".
I am using a R50, Mini Cooper AT which manufactured in UK. Manufactured year is 2006.

Please see my attached files in my e-mail, does your company provide the foam filter that can suit for my car?
If yea, please give me the detail.

I had registered in your web site 'http://www.altaperformance.com".
Does your company accept "oversee shipping" since I am in Hong Kong, China.
If your company cannot accept oversees shipping, what can I do? Any method I can purchase your foam filter?

Besides, I want to know is there any dealer in Hong Kong, China.
Can u give me the contact address and phone no. so that I can buy your foam air filter in local shop.

Thanks!

Thanks for asking! WE DO ship to China / Hong Kong, but we need your information via e-mail to sales@ALTAPerformance.com to get you a complete quote with shipping.

We do not currently offer a panel filter for that application, but do offer other items and I look forward to helping you with those.

Look forward to hearing from you soon!

We were on vacation last week in Oregon. I was going to drop by Alta and pick up a few juicy bits for my car but the Mrs wouldn't let me lest I spend all our cash on day 1 of our trip.

Cold Air Intake

I have a 2006 Cooper S with a JCW front strut brace. Will the Alta cold air intake fit with this strut brace in place.

Thanks for asking! It will but you will have to mod the box just a bit. Shoot me an email or call and I can walk you through it!

LOL we were talking about this exact thing Monday. Right now on the bottom of the screen there is a "customer also purchased" tab that toggles thru items that did just that. We are thinking about tagging that to "You might wanna get...."
