Just installed an alta intake about last wednesday, drove it pretty good to get the ecu adapted to its new flow, but i have noticed over the passed few days that when im at idle it goes from 900 to 800 and when it dips i get a vibration in the car anyone knows whats going on? thanx

 

Your "drive it pretty good" is on the right track.
Do a real ECU reset (battery disconnect or computer code reset) and see what happens).

Wasn't it REALLY cold down you way today ???

 

ya it was freaking freezing lol and its only 55 i know some east coasters are jealous even at that temp

 

To disconnect the batt... do you remove the red wire first, or black wire first? Positive or negative?

 

SOME even do this at the start of a track day not only to force the system to learn new parameters...

disconnect the NEG and wait a bit (2 / 3 min)

or
this is really easier
This will reset the adaptive learning / "cluster" reset

Hold in your odometer reset button and at the same time turn your key so that the radio comes on

Release the odometer button and then press it repeatedly until it shows the #19

Stop at 19 and the display will go back and forth between "test" and "off"
Push the button when it is on off and the press it repeatedly until you get to #21

It will display an option to reset. Press the button and your displays will go blank and your guages will flutter and then the displays will come back on

Turn off the key and then your done.

Takes less than 60 seconds and you don't need to to unhook the battery or reset your clock

 

is this problem just all in my head??? is this perfectly normal?

 

You could also try checking your spark plugs/lead connections and run a bottle of fuel injector cleaner too!
