I'd say you should go with the Helix pulley -- 6 bolts instead of 4 like the Alta.

The Version 2.0 looks good........lighter too as the body of the pulley is "ultra light aluminum". (From Alta's website.) I've had the original Alta 15% reduction pulley for 25000 miles or so and it's just fine with the 4 bolts. Just use blue loctite when fastening!

That's not the reason I would get the helix. Interchangability is the best part. Paying $50 to move to a 19% is much better than buying a whole new pulley for $100+. You pay similar prices for either the Alta or the Helix, but you get interchangability with the Helix. You may think you'll be fine with a 15%, but then again, maybe you won't. I ended up going from a 15% to a 19% in less than 5000 miles.

Yes the interchangability of the Helix pulleys is a benefit! MINIotaple how do you like the 19% compared to the 15%? Is the extra boost FUN low down in the revs compared to the 15%? Have you tracked your car-logged lots of continuous 4500 plus rpm-and had no drive belt issues? Thanks!
ok so i just bought the helix 17% pulley clamp on-style ($120) but can I use any mini pulley puller and belt tensioner tool... to change my pulley?? thanks
