Difference between the cold & hot Nology wires

So I'm planning on installing Nology ignition wires and their web site has options of either cold and or hot wires with a difference of price at about $100.

So what is the difference of the hot and or cold as far as performance or their effectiveness?

Do you have any reason to believe you're not getting complete combustion with the stock wires?

In any given combustion cycle, the mixture either ignites or it doesn't. If the stock spark reliably ignites the mixture, then going with a fatter spark or multiple sparks isn't going to change performance, fuel economy or emissions levels.

The hot wires have a metal jacket. They are better. Porsche used this type of wire for many years to contain RF emission. Do you realy need them? That would be a NO. Spark plug wires for most domestic cars, today, are silicone graphite core with a SS core shield. They can last for many years.... or not. They do fail from time to time, although rare.
I have a set of hot wires, no they don't make 4 hp, they don't mahe any hp but they are dead reliable. These will be the only set of wires this car will ever need.... Ever!

So your saying it would be a good investment to go with the hotwires?

Read here about "capacitor effect" wires.
http://www.magnecor.com/magnecor1/main.htm

Then save your money.

The top IC mounts is the easiest spot for the ground.

Then: http://www.nology.com/

It's up to you. There are plenty of good wires to choose from.
