Anyone have a Sound clip of Header + Oneball

I was wondering if anyone has recorded, or if you have this combo, could be kind enough to record, a clip of a one-balled MCS exhaust with any header? I'd like to hear what it sounds like. Please mention which header it is that you've installed as well.

Thanks in advance,
Elie

A good subset request would be the sound from inside the car ( I have the one-ball but no way to record the sound and I noticed a bigger change from inside the car than from the outside . . . a good change).

I should be able to get a sound clip for you guys within the next couple weeks. I should have my OBX header with my One-Ball, sometime in the coming week and will try to get some recordings for everyone!

If I had to start over on mods, I would definately do the OBX header and oneball. You can do both for less than the cost of some exhaust systems, cant beat that. I've never heard it with the one ball though (I only have the OBX), so I am eager to hear the clip as well.

awesome! that's the particular one i really wanted to hear, just wanted to compare it with a few others. I have a oneball, and probably will end up with the OBX header.

Please do high revving, idle, and cruising, both inside and out, back seat up and down if you can. Just mix it up a bit

While I have gone beyond the 1-ball plus OBX header - this is in my opinion THE way to go!

For those that now the 1-ball sound - adding the obx header just deepens the sound a tad.

I didn't think it was louder just deeper. What this should tell you is that whether it's actually deeper or louder it is just a little bit.

The car with th e1-ball and header remains stealthy which I think is a good thing at a light next to a honda .

Could you do a before and after clip so we can hear the change?

Yeah, I will do before and after clips as well as a variety of clips inside and out with the new set up. I should tell you that I will be running the header catless, which should make it significantly louder than one with a cat. I will also be dynoing afterward, so look forward to those as well!

Yeah, they were pretty strong runs for the minimal mods that I have, so I'm excited to see what the header will do for me.

15% Pulley, CAI, and One-Ball gave me 192.5 hp at the wheels. Here's the graph if you wanted to look at it:

That's what I was thinking.....that is an amazing result for those few mods......either that or a very high correction factor....are you sure that is WHP not crank estimate? I'm just jealous....but I admit it ....nice numbers....

Yup, that's WHP. The guys that own the shop said its by far the strongest MINI they've ever seen (with the given mods). Also, their dyno, a DynoDynamics dyno, is known to be one of the most conservative dyno's available and is notorious for lower, more accurate numbers...so knowing that is even more amazing!

Thats not bad. Is one of those graphs from just the one ball? Just curious because of the hand written stuff on the side.

-The lowest run is with the 15% pulley.
-The middle run is the pulley along with the CAI+One-Ball. This was a hot run, taken after 3 or 4 previous pulls.
-The top run is pulley w/ CAI+One Ball except I had misted water over the intercooler prior to it. Eliminating heat soak makes a HUGE difference in the MINI.

Alright, cool. Yeah, I am sure sitting on a dyno doesnt help either.

Thanks for explaining things.
