Drivetrain Small ding on edge of 15% pulley, this bad?

Small ding on edge of 15% pulley, this bad?

The 15% pulley I got has a small ding/flat spot on one edge of the pulley, how bad will this affect it? Must have happened during shipment.

What edge, where.

The edge/shoulder of the pulley itself (3 piece pulley). Having problems w/my camera at the moment, so can't post pics yet...

If the damaged part touches the belt at all, probably should send it back. Personally, I'd send it back anyway.

Did you buy it used? If it's brand new through the company, just send it back! I know I would....waiting would be hard, but I would rather wait a little bit and get a correct product.

I'de imagine depending the location and size that it could shred a belt pretty easily. It definitely wouldn't be something I would ever take a chance on.
