Are you t/c guys changing the cranks or pistons in your cars? And, have you changed the clutch, had any problems?

I upgraded the pistons in my to be on the safe side due to the extreme temps we get in PHX and that I'd prefer to run 91 pump gas. Tuls has his original stock clutch. I upgraded my clutch while I was putting in the diff.

NO way to the crank.... I'll do an 05 crank as it is half the wieght of the 02-04 but the 05 still has the damper...

LOL soooo... yeah... if your at 215.. that ruffly 50 HP from stock... now go race a stock S... then imagine another 50 HP ...LOL YEEEE HAAAAWWW!

I guess I don't want to do this and have my car all over the place in them. An LSD, Some COs and Sways would prolly take care of this though right?

I ended up doing almost all the suspension and brake stuff to my car up front. I just wanted to get this all dialed in before doing the TC kit. Now that the Brembos are on, I have an official countdown. hehehe....

Looking at this setup currently, though I may need to talk to Tuls&Hubie before I drop the coin. This whole vid of "more HP with lower psi" has me intrigued....Tuls???

Current plan:
TC kit
Spec Stage 2
M7 Flywheel
Head
Cam
TB
GRS TMIC
Intake manifold/runners

Yeah your plan parallels mine somewhat:
TC kit (SPI or Helix)
M7 DFIC
JCW Brakes (already have, might upgrade, dunno)
Megan Coilovers with H-Sport Sways
Stage 2+ Spec Clutch (Getting within the next 2 weeks)
Spec(UUC w/e) or M7 Flywheel (Getting within the next 2 weeks)
Fireball Racing Head
TB
Intake Manifold a Runners
Greddy Type S BOV, HKS BOV, or Standard BOV with TC mod(BADA$$ ).
Webb Exhaust (will already have by then)

The higher hp lower psi video is what I believe Fireball Tim and Hubie were talking to me about at the Chicago Autoshow, though I don't know for sure: Turbo Only.

I do not have an LSD ... only coils... either way... the car will not be all over the place... LOL... but theres nothing wrong with doing more... if you get used to the car with out that stuff it will be the same drive just more speed especially as you enter the corners... so if you are going to do the suspension.. do that... and get used to it... then add more power
