JCW works upgrade kit on 05 MCS.. question

A question about this JCW kit on a 05 MCS...

Does the following work on an 05 MCS? I know I would need the programming to use the injectors... I assume the 05+ JCW kits already include this..
I am looking for the intake and might possibly use injectors in the future... thanks

John Cooper Works Upgrade Kit
The JCW Air Filter Kit, new fuel injectors and a new ECU programming, increase the 200hp of your 2003/2004 JCW MINI Cooper S to 207hp.Price does not include installation.

From what I understand, if you perform the JCW upgrade on a 05 and 06, the air intake and the fuel injectors are included. Actually, if you perform it on a 04 or earlier now, they are included also. For 04 and previous, if you had done an upgrade then, they were not part of the kit yet. Hence you can add the air intake and the fuel injector kit as a package.

Also, the upgrade does not include the JCW brakes, suspension or strut brace. You do those separately also.

The factory ordered cars with JCW include all these plus LSD and DSC.

This is the upgrade path for 02 - 04 JCW TCs to go from 200 (or whatever it was before to 210bhp). If your just looking for the CAI you can get it here http://www.helix13.com/html/products...ew.php?p=6&h=m

I think I was unclear in what I was trying to say... Could the injectors used in this kit that includes the JCW intake and injectors, be used in an 05 MCS non-JCW. I know the filter will work.. will the injectors... I do realize I would need the programming to go with them.... Thanks

Not much point in using them unless you're going to go with a 19% reduction pulley and associated ECU remap.

A JCW pulley ends up being less than a 15% reduction, so a 15% or a 12% and 2 or 4% crank would be enough to justify the upgrade, assuming you have done some kind of intake. The ECU MUST be adjust to see any gains from larger injectors though, which could be JCW, MTH, Unichip, GIAC, Shark and so on.

12% reduction

Just because the JCW Kit includes larger injectors doesn't mean they're justified
