Drivetrain Installed Milltek Full Exhaust System!
Installed Milltek Full Exhaust System!
WOW! What a nice system. Excellent craftsmanship, easy fit and awesome sound.
The stock (JCW) exhaust was totally crimped just before the split to the mufflers! WTF is that all about? I know, a fitment issue. That system is now on its way to a landfill somewhere.
I installed the Alta 2% crank pulley and Nology Hotwires at the same time and what a differnece. This little car is incredible!
BTW, although off forum, the Konig 'Sideways' in 17 x 7 I just installed look great on my black beauty.
Cheers, Doug.

caminifan, it is the 'full monty' as you said. The system works well together to help the engine breathe.
At idle, it is barely noticeable. When you get on the throttle, that is a whole different story! Backing off the throttle, you get a more defined 'burble/POP'. My concern when purchasing this system was 'drone' in the cabin when cruising the highway, especially going up a hill. This was the problem with a Comptech I had on an Acura RSX Type-S. But the Milltek is not too loud...any ambient sound, like a stereo, and you can't really notice it. The sound when you do open up the throttle is low and growling not high and tinny like some others, which, to me, is obnoxious!
I highly recommend this system from a craftsmanship and sound quality stand point.
The only one better to me is the Eisenmann I have on my BMW 840Ci, but that is a V8 so it is hard to compare. ;-)

Pics to come shortly. I was going to wait to post pics until I painted my rotors, but they may come earlier.

JCW Exhaust
Due to ALL the inquiries and responses I've recieved about my [tossed] JCW cat-back, I went to the tuner that helped with the install and retrieved the exhaust from him. It is currently at his shop because it was too big to fit in my Mini to bring it home.
I will not wrap it up and mail it. So, if anyone wants it, crimp and all, just come to Santa Maria, California and pick it up for $200.00.
PM me for any details.
Cheers, Doug.
