Torque specs - flywheel , pressure plate, clutch swap

Hi,

I'm going to change out these components and I was wondering.. won't I need to torque things up after the installation to spec

I don't have time to buy the Mini manual to check that out. I'm hoping that someone can help me out. I'm entering TOTB http://www.totb.co.uk/home/ (Ten of The Best) on Thursday and Friday and I don't have time to spare.

If you can help me, I will be greatful

Pressure plate to flywheel = 23NM (17ft-lb) M8
Pressure plate to flywheel = 28NM (21ft-lb) M9

Flywheel to crank 90NM (66ft-lb)

Transmission to engine 85NM (63ft-lb)

Good Luck

I've run into a problem.

When I disengage the clutch to the farthest position its still touching the flywheel. Its very difficult to change gears... when its cold its fine but once hot isn't. If I take my foot of the clutch pedal slightly it come off the flywheel.. I can't drag or do a road course like this

Is there a way to ajust the clutch travel? What is up with this?

Thanks

Turns out that my slave cylinder, plain and simple, is dead. I'm having it changed and then I'll see how it feels.

Hi, I was just using the 66ft# for flywheel to crankshaft and the bolt snapped right at 66ft#.
It was a new replacement flywheel with new bolts.
Use caution when approaching the limit!
