What next...

Guys i am really confuesed... I m hereing different things from diferent people and dont know what to do next...
Right not under my hood i have an alta 15% pulley, Alta CAI, OBX Headers, One Ball exhaust, A catch can, And the VGS mod, also spark plugs. Now i dont know hwat to do next... I was thinking of doing MTH and JCW injectors, and get rid of my cat. I also heard that instead i should do a cat back. Wouldnt a one ball and no cat be not far from the cat back? which would i gain more power from? Thanks for all your help...

ya! Cut that cat out... the car will feel alot strong with that obx header and the cat cut out! At least i felt that on the car that i did that to...

you may want to try a throttle body too... more for throttle response and couple hps... but don't expect to see a dig difference on a dyno fromt he tb...

Also, a cylinder head will TRANSFORM your car... if you have any questions PM me...

surely what we are after is density, not pressure...so if intake temps exponentially increase after adiabadic threshold is reached, (which is reached with a 16% pulley at redline, or so i hear). If i fit a 17% pulley, will my intake density be less than that of a 16% or a 15% pulley at any particular RPM?

there is a LOT of reading on this, and there are people who are on both sides of the fence as to what is best. I am in the middle of doing my own research as to what pulley will be the best for me. Based on the driving I do (100% street with an autocross or two a year) I am looking for the low-end grunt that a 19% looks to offer. I don't drive around on the rev limiter, i like a meaty mid-range. I am willing to give up some power to heat at the very top to really enjoy my 3k-6K rev range.

YMMV!

Motorsports,

Didn't you have a head from Isellem on your first MINI? I'm confused, because I thought you ran 13s and then sold it? Anyways, over 200 whp requires something beyond the boltons and some extra luck, as has been said ad nauseum. But it sure is fun when you've got it!
