Mini-Madness CAI with Alta Silicone Hose??

I was exploring the possible options for a "new" intake. I currently have the Mini-Madness CAI but I want to add the Alta Silicone hose, or preferrably, sell the Madness intake and buy the Alta w/ hose. I was wondering if the Alta Silicone Hose fits on the Madness intake. I think that's the cheaper option, and since both intakes are similar, wanted to ask. So, is it possible?

I don't see why it wouldn't fit ...

This might get interesting. Does the K&N from the Madness or Helix intakes flow more than Alta's? I'm just not sure what gains are needed to make it worth the extra $75 for the hose. It might be worth it for those who already have an Alta CAI and want more power (if it proves out) by switching to a K&N filter in it.

Samco makes an intake hose for the MCS similar to the ALTA, however it retails for $60, and is of more consistent build quailty.

I know jscspeed.com sells just the Alta hose for $90. That's just one place, didn't check other Alta retailers.

Hmm, wasn't aware of this. Does it flow as well as, better than, the Alta? Could you provide a link to the product? Picture?

Yeah same here. Found a price too, same as Alta. I checked all their dealer sites and got the same price of $90+ for the Samco hose. If Ryephile could post a link to the Samco hose at $60 that'd be great.
