Drivetrain HP Data Sheet with all types of Mod's....Great Site.
HP Data Sheet
This guy really did his homework. He has tested just about every engine modification and gives you HP gain to the crank and wheels. Gives you the type, price and lots more. Look at it for yourself.

This is a really good collection of what is out there and what is coming up... I look forward to the updates to this page.
Randy, do these numbers look correct? I see the BMP intake being the best. The Madness seems to be the choice here on MCO.

Nice to see the breakdown like that. You can see pics of the mod, and pics of the dyno results, very nice.
Nobull, the wife says I have to tint the windows and get my roof decal before I get to play with the engine, she seems to think I have enough horse power

>>You know this place is starting to really bug me. I sign on every morning to look for some good info, just like reading the morning paper and all I see is the same ol' questions and the same ol' post day after day after day. I post something informative and nobody gives it a look or comment. All they are interested is counting chocolate, racing wrx's (which will beat any MINI) and a bunch of other crappy non-informative stupid posts. It seems this site has turned into a teenage chat room for gossup, not MINI talk. I don't know if its just me or if I am having a bad day but I just needed to vent. Am I alone or does anyone else feel this way?
Personally, nobull, I tend to focus on the more "technical posts," but in all fairness, this site was not designed for you or me, specifically, but for all MINI users who want to take part in any sort of discussion regarding their MINI. It may not be what I'm looking for in the site, but that's why it's designed so that you can look in only the forums you're interested in.
Now, back to the post. Thanks for the info, I'm definitely interested in getting an intake as my first mod, and pleased to see that the BMP looks to be coming out on top, for a much lower price than the rest

Brian has done his homework, but the numbers don't reflect it yet. The current numbers on this page are only the manufacturer's claims. I think you'll see (soon from what Brian has said) that the numbers Brian and his team got from the independent dyno testing match pretty closely with the info on my website for the intakes and exhausts.
MCSHP and MINI-Motorsport have already started working together to bring you the best, most accurate and objective information regarding MINI aftermarket products. More to come form both sites.

Along with George of MINI-Madness, Bryan Billings (dand if I can't remember his MCO username...it's 911ETR on MINI2) and I did the first bit of dyno testing for mcshp. Tested the BMP intake, the Rogue intake, the Quicksilver exhaust and the Magnaflow exhaust.
I don't believe he's done much more testing beyond that so far.

Info on the site:
Currently, it's a bit out of date. In the past few weeks I've sent Bryan a bunch of links and info and such about new mods and products to look for. I think he's probably just been a bit buisy lately. If you get any solid info, email info@mcshp.org He's usually pretty good at checking that.
History: The site started out as a piece of notebook paper on my desk where i wrote down the different numbers that I saw posted. Eventually the piece of paper got rather large and messy, so I copied it over to a table in word. Since it was already on my computer, I put it up for a reference for others. Pretty soon Bryan (aka 911ETR and MCSHP (only here on MCO)) contacted me and helped me update the site and keep track of info. Eventually, he took off with the idea and did what i could never have done. He contacted different suppliers and companies and worked out a deal with them. I don't know when things will really start to get underway, but he should be getting a bunch of products to perform independant testing on. It'll be nice to get to the bottom of all this hype about different intakes, exhaust, etc... Last I heard, Bryan was looking for a way to reset the ECU to get the most accurate dyno numbers possible between tests. Not much point in testing products if you can't make sure the ECU has the same level of adaption in each case!

>>Just sending it out again for those who may of missed it. Read first post for link.
NoBull60, thanks for the 411. It's been a while since I was at his site and almost forgot about it. I can't wait to see the independantly test HP gain column to start showing some numbers.
Another person said it'd be also good to post 0-60 times with and without the mod to see how that add'l HP gains really affect performance.
