Drivetrain Motor mounts?
engine movement
I posted question about drive train play. I got no responses:
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=50865
I wonder if the movement of the engine which the stiffer motor mounts address is what I'm sensing when I get on and off the gas. Can someone address this? May it have anything to do with the MTH programming which makes the off throttle response very fast? To me it just seems like play in the drive train.

Pfunk.....The one shown by Andy would be for a 05 with the different mounts compared to yours....I could still use the one you have and make my own bracket....How much are you selling them for?
Andy's pic is must be from another Japnese site. They just came out with the 05~ version too. I am talking to the manufactor right now. when I go back to Japan in November I am trying to bring a bunch of them with me. Price TBA for now.
I was thinking about having my girl pick one up for me when she goes back to Japan also in Nov to see her family while im in Vegas at the SEMA show.
But def get prices as im sure others will want them and i might buy a bunch from you to sell around here to my customers.
lemme know when you get a price PFUNK.

when I did mine, is used the powerflex control arm bushings. very nice kit, not a fingered insert like their motor mount units. it is a bugger to press out the stock, metal sleeved, hokey rubber bushings; I made a mandrel and used the 20 ton press. the pflex pop right in. I have heard mention of subframe bushings, but I never found any.
1FSTMINI,
Contact Peter at M-7: http://www.m7tuning.com/ He used to market such a product and may still have some available.
There are no sub frame bushings that I can find. What are you referring to? Somewhere else where there is rubber to be removed? I'd like to know.

I had a really good article somwhere, but I seem to have misplaced that bookmark. I did find this interesting discussion on GRM:

While on the Madness site, I noticed that they sell their SC pulley as lighter than stock. Interesting, as that's a first, at least far as I can recall...

Duh
Duh, I might have missed something in this thread. I'll ask what may seem like a dumb question.
What advantage does that red damper assembly pictured above offer to engine stabilization?
It would seem to me that the stock steel arm that connects the engine motor mount and the strut tower thru the rubber or replacement bushes will provide complete for and aft stabilization of the rocking motion.
Help me understand.
