We are all done. We have the data, and will be giving it to the buyers first. Thanks to everyone! Anyone want to guess the numbers?

Whew...it's over
After a long day and a very patient/generous Dyno operator, we have accomplished the mission
I want to thank Chad (Detroit Tuned) for volunteering his mechanical accumen and of course, JS for providing his brand new Mini as the lab rat. Chad also saved JS from one amateur mechanic (me) from having to work on his Mini
Sides, I'm all wrenched out having replaced my header last night...that's another interesting story which I will post in another thread.
We were able to make at least three runs with each configuration. Each time, the ECU was reset and operating temperature of IAT/water were leveled as much as possible. The first three configurations went without a hitch but the AGS took us a little longer than expected to install. Good news is that were no vacume leak. We booked for 3 hours and Andy Dafski of Advanced Chassis Dyno was more than generous by providing more than 4 hours for the same price. We used up every single 24,000 pennies that was sent in. Andy even gave us 6 extra runs on top of the 12 making Joel's Mini one tired puppy with 18 runs altogether.
Here's the part where we're going get flack from those who didn't wish to participate. We have decided to stick to the original plan:
1-We will disseminate all collected data electronically via email to those who supported us by paypal or donated a part for testing. One person who sent a check, please contact me and give me your email.
2-You folks who helped to make this happen may diseminate your information as you wish. Post it up, make copies and send them to every member, charge for copies...
We will not be the first to publish this information as we do not consider it our sole property since we only provided the instrument/labor/time and not the funds to make this happen. In otherwords, PLEASE DON'T BUG US (Chad, JS or me) ABOUT POSTING INFORMATION. Ask the people who have sent their hard earned money for this dyno test
As soon as one of you supporters post the dyno numbers up, we can have in depth discussions of what these numbers mean. There's tons of information so we'll be debating the results for a good long time. It's not a matter of "this beats that by X hp or Torque". Of course, we never thought it be that simple.
I have no space in my gallery so I'll be sending images to Chad for him to post up. He also has all the electronic dyno data which he will forward to me later. At which time, I'll start sending those out one by one.
Thanks again to all you supporters for making this happen. We look forward to the fireworks to come

I was feeling left out! So have the results been sent yet? I would think that would be a rather quick turnaround given it was done a few hours ago...
So have any of the paid customers received their data yet? :impatient :impatient :impatient

Patience everyone, please. As soon as Chad forwards me the data, I will start sending them out. No one has them in hand except Chad:smile: With over twenty people to get these information to, it may take more than a day or two to cram them into the emails as I have dial up...arrrgg. I don't know, maybe not...I don't know much about email but will learn fast. A few more days at most. For those of you who have my number, you can ring me up and I can give you a quick summary to tie you over.
Sid
Oh Chaaaaad.....can you email me the data please?

What does Joel think??????
Glad you guys were successful and had a good time.
I know I will get the results in good time, but my question is how does Joel like the car with the AGS on. Numbers aren't everything if you don't like the way the car performs and runs.
So, Joel, how do you like the car with the AGS ???????

I like it
Bill and anyone interested in my impression.
I'll say upfront that I like it. Sounds great. Butt Dyno noticed an improvement also.
I wanted to wait till the numbers are published for all to see before writing, but what the heck. And you are right Bill. It isn't just about numbers. For me it's about what I want out of my car. I bought the AGS because I like the concept. I was able to see Sid's AGS before I bought mine, so I knew what to expect as to visuals and sound. I also think that the AGS is the way to go as I perform more mods to my car. I would like to say that Chad was an indispensable help as he did almost all the work at the Dyno. Again THANK YOU Chad. I mention this, as I wanted to say that the installation wasn't without it setbacks. My advice to anyone is; allow plenty of time -Murphy's Law applies.
So, would I do it again? with a resounding, "Hell yes."
I would like to thank Sid for all his help and to thank each of you who contributed to this experiment in the testing air intakes. Numbers will be coming in a day or so - when Chad and Sid work up the presentation.

The Data Has Been Sent Out
I know I'm missing one or two...so let me know if you got left out. I'm still waiting for your check joker but I'll send your data out seperately.
Thanks again and let the debate begin
FYI, I will be keeping my AGS...I'll be happier when I get the leak fixed. Mine is a early test version. The current gen AGS that JS has did not have the vacume leak issue:smile:

Did you send a copy to me? Were you able to put BiM-COM to good use?

I did tell your partner who replied to me. He said he would find out for me...don't get mad
