M7 AGS vs Alta CAI sound clips?

Does anyone have SOUND CLIPS of the AGS and the Alta CAI?

I did a newbie thing last year and went with the MiniMania mods - their CAI, exhaust header, shark 93, 15%, and borla (happy with the borla though).

I'm scheduled this week with Helix to make some things 'right' - 19% pulley, GIAC, alta intercooler, catch can, JCW injectors, and Helix short shifter.

I'm wondering if its worth the $ to switch over from a Mania CAI to the Alta or AGS....

Any suggestions or thoughts are SO APPRECIATED

Sound

There is already a thread that contains the AGS's sound.

I'm not sure about that of the Alta.

Good lord, that sounds amazing.

Since there is no ALTA clip for comparison, can anyone with experience with the Alta CAI describe how it sounds in relation to that M7 AGS? (ie, more whine, not nearly as loud, etc)

It shouldnt be long before someone comes in here demanding actual decibel levels and frequency response curves. You know, numbers.

If I wanted to buy something, I would call the vendor and ask them.

I DID call M7 earlier today regarding availability and he said that there is a fairly large back-order for the AGS right now directly from M7. I was hoping anyone else would happen to know if another vendor may have them in stock.

I could care less what it sounds like from the outside, WHAT DOES IT SOUND LIKE ON THE INSIDE???????? That is where I listen to my sweet supercharged music. Why waste your money on an HK system when you already have the supercharger?

How about two or three sound bites, one the stock air box and then the M7 &/or the Alta CAI

The numbers people don't consider sound to be an indicator of performance, so no interest in decibel levels.

As of now, I don't think anyone else is getting them to sell. I would assume that M7 will fill all pre-orders prior to shipping them out to their vendors.

We are building them as fast as we humanly can, and the back orders are being
filled as we speak....

What are you saying?? Of course sound is an indicator of power, haven't you noticed the more a civic sounds like a weed wacker the faster it goes  . (btw no offense to anyone with a modified civic intended but I have heard some that compare quite nicely to a weed wacker). On a slightly more serious note, I do have the capability of getting both decible levels and an FFT of the sound on my laptop for analysis if someone (M7: hint hint ) wants to maybe send me a "sample" AGS. Hey, can't blame me for trying to pick up some freebies.
