M7 AGS - Sound/Video Clips!

Oh ya, here's 2 videos of M7s AGS in action. The first is of the sound you can hear from upclose.... you thought the Alta sounded like a leaky faucet, wait til you hear this. The second, my ******* brother was holding the camera sideways, but you dont need the video to take in the sweet sounds. Keep in mind, I was far enough away at the beginning of the second video to get all the way through first.

Listen to the hiss
Listen to the scream

Thanks for posting.

A question about the sound in the drive-by: it sounds like your car has the yo-yo (or some sort of oscillation) right when you start out. What is it? At first, I thought you were revving it to do it but after watching it several times it seems like herky-jerky effect. Thanks for any feedback.

That was just me blipping the throttle a few times so you can hear that wonderful sound.

Oh mannn! After a long day at the office, those sound clips really made my day. Look forward to seeing some before/after dyno printouts. Keep up the good work M7!

Youll realize how different it sounds when you hear it in person.

Have a nice day!

That, my friends, is the sound of things to come.

I dont think the air intakes well get any better than that, m7 really have done an amazing job, 3 cheers to the crazy swede.

This AGS system has really given the S's a little bit more of that screaming reputation. When people hear the whine coming, they will know it's a MINI Cooper S, with an AGS.

Nice sound clips!

I think at idle Alta CAI sounds more sophisticate...this AGS is kinda raw. It sounds like you have a leak tube somewhere.

On driving clip I think both Alta and AGS make the same sound. AGS sounds like a car missing some parts. Alta sounds like a good instrument because of the nice tube and a beauty foam filter.

.....what am I talking about here?...making music on the street?

did you just post this on the other thread?

You obviously dont know what the AGS is. It isnt anything like any cold air intake on the market. before this, they were all the exact same concept... the "lets just stick another filter on there and open up that back section". If you take a look at the tube that the AGS replaces, you will see how this can give you a much better throttle response and yes, low end power. It is a straight shot into the supercharger now... no bends, no twists, no 3 feet to move air. With the throttle open, you would be able to look into the supercharger. I am confident that this will provide a considerable amount of power of the Alta (5 hp) and for only $50 more. The sound is much more streetable than the Alta from inside the car. This system actually keeps the sound OUT of the car and into the street.

I just fixed it. I just saw that you have 2 places for your advertisement. So I put the right content to the right place.

...but you double posts eh?

I agree that the sound is out to the street for a better pronuce that "HEy! I'm a Ricer"

Just kidding!

Why would I advertise? What is my benefit? I am here doing you all a favor and letting you know my experience with the AGS since there are so few people with one. The people want to know, so I am letting them know. I am just keeping the sound thread seperate so that its easier to find in the future when people start asking "what does the AGS sound like".

My car's a ricer now? Thats a pretty lame comment. Ive never seen a civic sound remotely close to my car. The only cars Ive heard that sound like mine, have beat me

steady state cruise?

How does it sound at steady speeds of 40 and 60 mph? Is it noticeable? Can you have a conversation? Could I talk on a speaker phone? Could I eat a big mac and drink scalding coffee without spilling?

Yo! did i hit your g-spot? Man! I'm kidding!

Let me say it again. AGS sounds good make the car sound like a Ferrari.

I hope you feel better.

Peace!
