Great to see the AGS has made you such a happy camper. Sounds like it's been well worth the wait.
Congrats also to Cooper_Si on being the first in the UK.

Really looking forward to seeing the vid. Being in Australia, I don't get the chance to experience these products first hand, so any show-off clips would be awesome.
I wanna be blown away - i'd love to be one of the first in Oz with the AGS...

The sound realy stands out is all, I still believe more performance is there also. I drove Jason's car a bit and because his MCS is already has pulley and ECU tune, I couldn't realy tell how much power he gained. My MCS does not have a pulley yet so I'm thinking I'll notice the real deal difference the AGS makes. Then as soon as I get dyno'd with the AGS, I'll throw the M7 pulley on and back to the dyno I go.

I can't understand why someone would spend $300 on sound alone. Now if it makes big hp that is another thing. I know fuel management makes hp, it's proven but none of the dyno's i have seen have made "real" hp with any air intake system.

When you compare the m7 "tube" to the stock one it is obvious where the pre-supercharger bottle neck is. If an air filter can make noticable power, then I can't see how this won't, especially with a ported supercharger...then head, camshaft, etc...

I wouldn't be suprised if you'd see gains by adapting it to your turbo set up. Do you keep the stock pipe?

I don't know you, but you seem to turn threads into a convoluted mess. If you don't like something please make your thesis statement, give some supporting facts, take pride that you know everything and have a fast car, then leave the rest of us alone. This is not ment to offend you, but there isn't an award given for being better than everyone else.

I'm sure there's some that would say that can't understand why any one would bother trying to squeeze 300hp out of a Cooper.

As for it alone not making hp, that may be true but when combined with other mods if its indeed a better intake it should be a better complement than other intakes, therefore making more hp. I would think, at least.

El Diablito,
This site is about community, not taking the wind out of people's sails. It is really difficult to read through pages of bickering to get to some information. That being said, I'll drop it and hope you do too.

Are you aware that you imply that the only mod that makes any power is a turbo? Not just here, but all the time. I said ill post numbers, so until then shut up about it. Im getting it on the dyno thursday.

it's about bang for the buck.... and so far nitrous and the turbo are the only real bang for the buck

how much have you spent on your mods and have you even broken 200whp yet? that is reality.... I live in it
