That was great Bisch, the look on everyones faces when the front end lifted up and you smoked the tires on the dyno.

A sight to remember, most def.

Now you know what I've been crowing about.
Still on the smaller injector?
When I get Stryker back with the turbokompressor

One run did show 280ft-lbs torque, but we coldn't repeat it.
There was much room for improvement in tuning given the a/f measurements. That will be next.
holly crap! man... how much are you shooting? on the NOS system? 75 shot?

and can you give me an idea of the mods you have ... thats lots of HP for just NOS....

thanks

My melon is HUGE baby, yeah!
Hopefully you'll be quick enough to require the helmet.
You can borrow my helmet, it's big enough for your head. I'm at NHIS this Sunday and Monday so we can meet up on Tuesday the 19th. I'll need it back by the 26th for NHIS again. That'll give me enuff time to delice and sanitize it.
Give me a call tomorrow or Friday and we'll coordinate it.

Bisch, maybe it's time to buy a helmet, with WHP results like that your soon going to to be required by the track. waa-hoo!
Most motorcycle shops have basic no frills Snell M2000 approved helmet's for about $50.00., also good for autoX.

tires, have ya got that sorted out? what are you running?

Bisch...what color jet are you using? I'm getting ready to run mine again after the clutch install. Are you using stock clutch?

A helmet will be my next "mod". It will definately be needed.

I am currently running the following:
Venom nitrous (thanks CCM) w/ purple valve
19% pulley
400cc M7 injectors
HAI
modified Alta air diverter
H2O sprayer
wrapped SS header
Magnafreakinflow exhaust (complete with earplugs)
stock ecu
until funds allow, I'm still on my Falken azenis sports.

I installed a purge valve in the drivers side vent just for effect . It will let the other driver know of their misfortune. All hoses, wires and solenoids are completely hidden in the engine bay. Real slick. The tank is vented with a blow down tube per IHRA regs (required with my stripped interior).

on the magnaflow eshaust... i have it too and it isnt very loud...
do you think an ECU upgrade will help you at all?

I believe Tony Nuzzo has Motecs in each of his cars... I'll be seeing them in two more weekends at Laguna Seca. Here is their website:

Yes,

A very good friend of mine (tuner) has installed Motec 400 (?) ecu's into 2 MINIs here in the UK so far and they work a treat! I was quoted 1400GBP though for the ecu and install . I'll stick with the Siemens unit thanks

I have shot the black a few times on the street....It now rips the tires up in FOURTH gear! The black should have me north of 300hp! It is Venoms V8 nozzle...
this is kinda of a dumb question.. i think... Bisch

So how much power does it take before a MINI engine self destructs???

Or, another question, how long can one hope to run a Mini with this kind of power before it blows???

Only those with experience need reply.

ripley.

Nice... although I find it odd that you would rather give a calculated number rather than the one that was actually measured.

- hoping everyone here will embrace WHP numbers soon enough

fyi

the drag calculator gives 245hp for a 2800lb car to hit 103mph. says you can get 13.8 with only 208hp
