I'm curious too. My last run with BR cat-back, Miltek header, Alta 15%/TMIC/CAI, and Powerchip added up to 193 whp. I've added Webb TB/CH-Shrick/Unichip (needs tuning while at the dyno) and hopefully, M7's AGS. A 12 lb FW should add a few ponies too?

Can you do a run with the Unichip plugged in, then remove it and a do a run without the Unichip at all? For some reason, only ONE Unichip customer has ever posted such a real dyno here, and the results were poor to say the least:

Sid, we are on similar paths so it will be good to compare our dyno runs when we do them. My last run included Alta 15/CAI, Madness header, milltek cat back, MTH for 193whp. Just added Endyn head, IC runners, IT mnfld, blower>all ported/polished and the schrick. I did get a P0172 and sent my dynos to Franz who did send back a MTH that is working well right now. But I did get tired of waiting so I ordered a unichip and it is with Randy right now. I plan on dyno'g before/after the Uni. btw, my MTH mod didn't add any hp/trq...it reduce it.

I'm back

Lee Hurley of Hesco (the owner and all around great guy spent 6 hrs with me today and bought my lunch to boot) is a legend. His shop had a new Ford GT a couple of Porsches, Bently turbo, 30s vintage RR, perfect Hemi road runner 68, two late model Ferraris, 57 Eldorado, 2 late 60s beautiful Camaros, 37 Packard, 70s Mini Cooper S, Model A and some things I can't remember. His list of experience is huge. We hit it off.

The Dyno,

His Dyno is a DynoMite and if I tell you it is stingy we're talking Scrooge.

He was meticulous in his prep as he is a A&P certified aviation mechanic as well. He does mechanical assesments for accidents, flys a Seneca, builds products for Mopar on and on and on. He picked the torque up over 20ft lb. The hp went up over 10. The driveability went up 1000%. The lows and mids are very smooth now and the power under the pedal feels incredible to me. Because the engine has smoothed out so much the car is now sneaky fast. Before the engine was always "pissed off" and you knew it was making power now it is almost effortlesly making power and the throttle response is vastly improved. look down and I'm doing 90 instead of 75.

Lee did not work a full 6 hrs because he would get interuptions but I scheduled this for today and I was not going to do anything to distract him. I could tell during each run as he made his adjustments that good things were happening.

There is so much more to this but I am very happy with my car and I could not recommend Hesco more for UNichip on dyno tuning.

Awesome to hear you were able to get your UNIchip tuned correctly to you car! Great results, I'm rather suprised you got that big a gain, actually!

See you at the Dragon!

FW won't add any power.

Where are you located at?

It will be interesting for me to have you check out my car at the Dragon. I have so little to compare it to (my fault).

Ive got a 9lb FW on my civic right now. Granted you wont see any hp/tq gain, but you will feel a nice difference up high. Another myth is that you will loose tq, and although you will need to launch a bit differently to compensate for the loss of (in my case 9 lbs) weight. Seeing your revs move freely with a lightened FW is pretty cool

I'm all for LFWs but they just don't add power, neither will light pullies or any other lightened rotating part. LFWs make for nice drivabilty and a snappy motor though.
