Have the Schrick cam, Extrude Hone intake coated tubes, head work, valves, throttle body, Unichip, Alta and Webb parts, etc., and it's the COMBINATION that makes it a new car... currently at 250+ dependable HP. Specifically - the
cam is a tremendous asset by itself - but, understand, it can't be fully utilized without a BALANCED approach to your total engine, driveline, suspension, etc.

The cam alone as a mod isn't an early mod and while offered for both MC and MCS I would be wary about adding it to the MC without a clear idea of your overall goals. Talk to Randy Webb at Webbmotorsports.com or Eric at Helix13.com, they both have lots of experience with shrick cams and other mods to help it.
Personally I'd do suspension mods or lighter wheels before I'd do the schrick cam.

I have several Customers running the Schrick Cam that are very happy with it. Though install you have to be careful to clearence the Spark Plug tubes properly so that you can freely turn the cam, but not impede the Install and removal of your spark plugs. This is done on all the Heads that we sell with Schrick Cams.
I cant wait to get mine done and this thread is making me want it done even more!
Next week th eported head, shrick cam, ported sc runners and tb are going on. I already have the pulley, intake and the intake manifold ported, header and exhaust installed. Car runs great now but I know its going to be that mch better after the rest of the parts go on.
