Pilo coil and Nology helped greatly with "stumbles"

I can't say they are totally gone but the improvement is so dramatic that I can live with this very nicely and I'm loving my car again after about 2 months of frustration. These products are working for me ...thank you Pilo and Nology (and Randy).

Yes, the whole package seems stonger and smoother. Stronger by a little smoother very noticeably. Well worth the money for me. My car was stumbling and bumbling and yo-yo ing and jerking and all the other stuff. Now it is running much better....not perfect but I am much happier

Wow, sounds perfect for me. My car is a bit rough and would appreciate a little smoothness

Great to hear you are so happy with them. I just got Nology wires for Randy Webb too. I haven't installed them yet but I'm looking forward to getting them on as soon as I can. I should probably call Randy and get a Pilo coil to go with the wires.

Not that I buy into Nology's claims, but you guys realize that Nology themselves insist that their magic only works with zero resistance plugs, right?

I looked at Nology's web site and couldn't find anything about the hotwires only working well with zero resistance plugs.

" Hotwires REQUIRE 0-resistance spark plugs to work !!!
Plasma Booster work with any good quality spark plug, including resistor type spark plugs. In today’s spark plug market, it is very difficult to find spark plugs without resistance. That is why we sold the Silverstone Spark plug at Nology. The Hotwires will not work fully with any resistor type spark plugs."

Thanks for the link. So in your opinion Nology Hot Wires with IK22 plugs will be no improvment over the stock wires.

Is this what you mean by zero resistance plugs?

It means the plug exhibits no internal resistance - a superconductor comes to mind. Too bad spark plugs aren't made without resistance. You can only lower it.

I'd like to see a good test between the various plug wires with and without the 40,000 volt coil pack. I plan on getting the coil pack in the future and would like to know if the Nology wires really make the difference or if it's in the coil pack.

In this case, Pilo coil should be the one that gain performance then...?

i think this is more like the fact that all cars are different.

It dipends on what after market intake you have and the wires and the exhaust and all that.
my jerky stuff came in after i had my exhaust. it did not came right away but after a while, look like it took a while for some stuff to go wrong in the car.

I really dont think it proves anything until we see couple of more examples, just like some of the exhaust dont give much HP gain on one car but does on anohter car. we can't really tell whats going on at this moment.

Glad that we have an idea on what to try first at least.

All I know is that I put the Nology wires and the coil pack on and there was a definite improvement. Zero or not...it made a difference in my car:smile:

I got the whole Pilo ignition kit 6 months ago to solve a misfire problem and it did a great job since!

First, no more misfires!

Second, no more yo-yo or stumbles!

And MTH also helped a lot with some minor things my MCS also had!

So, Pilo + MTH = what BMW should include from day 1 !

Randy Webb has tested and found that Magnecor wires works best with an MC.
