Need help deciding on a dp

I’ve recently purchased a 2011 mcs. I bought an Invidia q300 cat back exhaust and I couldn’t be happier with the tone and sound, but I really want it to be louder. I’m thinking maybe a dp? Any pointers on how to make it louder while keeping the deep growl would be greatly appreciated. Trying to avoid the fart can, bumble bee 4 cylinder sound at all costs.

Just don't buy that Ebay bullcrap or any of those CNT DP's, I've tried those and they rust easily at the flange. You best look into reputable brands like militek or akrapovic or along that line of quality pipes (please excuse my spelling).

So would a good dp be a good way to get a louder sound while still keeping the low tone? And would it need a tune or throw any codes?

will a good dp give me more volume tho without giving me that bumble bee sound? That’s ultimately what I’m after.

I've had the Milltek on my car for 3 years and have had no issues what so ever. Here's video I made awhile back with the q300 and milltek dp. Skip to 2 minutes to hear just the exhaust without the intake noise.

that sounds great. Is there anything else done to it? Mine is completely stock other than the q300 exhaust and a K&N air filter

Havent had any issues with my CNT, If you want to stick with a catted down pipe, I think its best bang for your buck, it has a ceramic cat that will not melt and 100 cell vs 300 cell cat. Theoretical the 100 cell cat should flow better than a 300 cell.

I had the invidia q300 with plm catless downpipe. I also removed the resonator that came with the invidia.
I coated my pipe so maybe that’s why it’s holding up strong. But shoot me a text 4798790682. I’ll send you a video of what it sounds like.
