Losin it .. Need belt size help !

After shreding two belts I replaced the tensioner with one from amazon . I have a 15% sc pulley and a 2% crank pulley . I ordered a stock belt which I was told would fit . Unfortunatly theres no way thats going to fit . I had the tensioner at the second stop , basically all the way back. There was no chance in hell of getting that belt on . I think it was gates 06535. . Would the next larger size fit or should i go two sizes ?? I believe 06539 is the next one although I was told the JCW belt might fit . Any recommendations appreciated

I have the 2% WMW crank pulley, but stock 11% JCW s/c pulley --- I run a ContiTech 1374 and all is well.

The 1374 indicates mm length.

ECS recommends a 1364mm belt for 2%+16%
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-gates-pa...9/k060535~gat/

Hopefully others will weigh in with actual experience.

I appreciate the response but this adds to the confusion . The gates k06535 is 1379mm and it wont fit , too small ,so I don think 1374mm would .

Quite confusing indeed ---

Losin it .. Need belt size help !-gzzmfjm.png

--- although the Gates does indicate 1379mm, that is for the OC = outside circumference,
so according to the label we'd say it's 1364mm because it states 6PK1364.

Good deal.

That one is 1370mm so it should do the trick.

Cheers!

That's so strange, the stock belt should fit perfectly. 060535 is not the stock belt though if that's the one you were using.

You just ordered it lol. 539 is the stock belt if memory serves correct.
Had the 2% OD and 15% SC on my R53 and ran 539.

K060535 and K060539 are not stock --- they're both much smaller.

6PK1364 and 6PK1370 is so much easier to decipher for me as I never have like fractional measurements, and especially when it's in like 10ths of an inch!

K060535 = 1364mm
K060539 = 1370mm

Stock MCS size is 1388mm.

Well hell, I've been misinformed if that's the case.
Will adjust my notes! Thanks!

I finally installed the 60539 and its tight but fits . I dont like the fact that the tensioner is showing the entire hole and its close to showing the second hole so Im going to order the stock 1388mm belt . Currently theres a old belt Im using and its worn but looks like contitech6pk1388 which is a heavier belt than the Gates so thats what Im going to get . Thanks to everyone that helped

I believe the 60539 belt is for the JCW cars with a smaller supercharger pulley. At least that is the part number I have for my car which I need to order. I believe 60547 is for non-JCW cars which should be slightly longer.
