Pro Tuning Lab Exhaust

Has anyone every seen these? Does anyone know anything about them?

Pro Tuning Lab

They look ok but not sure if it would be a waste of money or a great deal.

Great price but I can just about guarantee that you're going to have fitment problems. If you're having a shop install it, then you can expect to pay some additional cash for the modifications they'll need to do to get it on the car. If I'm totally wrong, please let me know so I can buy this myself.

I have to agree with cooper48 that most likely there'd be fitment problems --- although it does indeed look good, I think it's a cheap knockoff.

Looks like a Megan copy,
almost identical design:

:

It's available at many venues,
for slightly cheaper:

:

And of course,
also eBay,
where you can find 3 reviews which all state that it has fitting problems:

.

Agree, have not really seen anyone run that system that much. Yes, does look like a copy.

I bought one, haven't installed it yet though as it'll be the last item to go on the car. By a professional shop... I attempted at one point to install it, laughed, and called a local shop - $105 to install. Yeah, I'll do that.

As far as the actual item though, it does look pretty quality. Nice bends at least.

It looks very much like a copy of the JCW exhaust, (much more than the Megan as noted above !). My JCW system is sitting in my shed.

For that price, you can buy two of them if you have problems.
I'm going to give the Ireland Engineering system a try on my 05 JCW.
http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/item/minicatback.html

The tip is a large oval rather than two tips as shown in the picture. The whole system is 2-1/2" dia. tubing. Unlike most of the others that neck down (some too far !) at the split.
More money, but very possibly a better system.

Good luck.

Mike

Not yet, the exhaust will be the last component to getting this car on the road, and this project just keeps growing and growing. Currently finishing up a custom seat bracket for a Cobra fixed back. No ETA as I keep saying next month, next month, next month. TBD. It's going on, however. At least initially, as I have some different ideas for the rear end of this car.
